One of my good friends and notable BBC music journalist, Marcus J Moore, gave me a copy of their music while were at one of our favorite open mic events. The super rock group is composed of Alison Mosshart (of The Kills and Discount), Jack White (of The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age) and Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes). The music was what I classified as dark soul. It was dark but had that realness of soul. The group members holed up in a house for weeks and created the entire album. That sounds like how rock music was made in the 60s and 70s.
